We offer an Introductory Special  for new students - weekly piano lessons $59 per month for 3 months.  After the first 3 months, the tuition will be our standard $80/month.

Independence School of Music has several wonderful piano teachers available to teach you or your child how to play piano.  If you live in Brecksville or Seven Hills, you can learn to play piano in the comfort of our spacious Independence piano studios.  We are located in Independence off of Brecksville Rd (7324 Valley View Drive), across from St. Michael's church .  Our piano teachers all have university degrees and years of experience teaching piano.

When you learn to play piano at Independence School of Music, you will have a private piano lessons once a week.  Our piano students will all participate in at least two piano recitals each year.  This year our piano students will begin to participate in OMTA competition and other student events.

Our private piano lessons include music theory and ear training.  We have a complete retail store with hundreds of piano method books and piano sheet music for our piano students.  Much of the piano music today comes with CDs or DVDs to help you learn, and enjoy playing along with the music on the CD.

Adult piano lessons - Often adults who always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument will ask if they are too old to begin.  We have many adult piano students who never touched a musical instrument when they were a child.  Some start in their 40s, 50s, or 60s.  When you begin piano lessons as an adult, you will meet with your piano teacher and discuss the approach you want to take toward your piano lessons.  Often adults have a specific reason why they want to learn to play piano.  One person may love a classical music or blues, and want to learn how to play blues on piano.  Another person may sing at church and want to learn how to play along as they sing.  Some adults want to learn piano to better guide their young children.  Some adults learn to play piano as a creative outlet.  Whatever your reason, Independence School of Music can teach you how to play piano.
